Dr. Ryan Cicero
Ever since he became a dentist, Dr. Cicero’s top priority has been to make each person’s visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible. He always enjoys meeting new faces and getting to interact with returning patients too – every day is different! Being able to change someone’s perspective on dentistry who may have had bad experiences in the past is very rewarding as well. If you’d like to learn more about him, just keep reading below.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Cicero always enjoyed going to dental appointments as a kid, and he even had a good relationship with his own dentist. His passion for helping others made him realize early on in life that healthcare was the right field for him. Dentistry in particular has given him the amazing opportunity to create lasting, meaningful relationships with patients built on trust.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After studying at Indiana University, Dr. Cicero pursued his dental doctorate at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. He completes 75 hours of continuing every three years on a variety of topics in order to keep his clinical skills sharp, including restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Arizona Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Cicero is happily married to his wife Shylah. She is also a dentist, and they met while in dental school together. She currently owns a dental office in Chandler. They recently had their first child, a daughter named Haisley. The last member of their family is a Black Lab named Tucker who’s over 10 years old. Outside of working hours, his biggest hobbies are spending quality time with loved ones, traveling, trying new restaurants, watching sports, and dabbling in golf. He can also play the guitar!
